Description
Smelting is where a wipe is won or lost quietly. Running three furnaces in the corner of your main base means every ore run bottlenecks behind the last one, and stacking a smelter inside your loot room means the moment somebody sees the smoke they know exactly where the stock is. A furnace base solves both: nine furnaces and a large furnace laid out as one bank, so a full haul goes in at once and comes out while you are back on the road.
It is built compact on purpose — two doors, two chests, a small footprint and 1,100 stone a day to hold. Nothing inside is worth a raid except the smelt in progress, and everything your builder picks up while raising it goes into your chests. Put it near your farming spot rather than next to your main base and it quietly doubles what you get out of every trip.

Two reasons. Furnace smoke is visible from a long way off and tells people where to look, and a smelting floor eats space your main base needs for storage and defence. Splitting them keeps both jobs efficient.

No. Wood and ore stay yours to load, or you can order them from our Resources listings and a PRO delivers them before you start smelting.
So a full haul goes in at once. Nine small furnaces take the bulk of the ore while the large furnace clears the heavy stacks, which means you drop everything, walk away and come back to it finished instead of feeding one furnace at a time.
It goes into your chests. Anything your builder gathers on your server while the base goes up is left with you. We take nothing off the top.
No. The materials are part of this order — your PRO farms them on your server and builds with them, so there is nothing for you to stock and nothing to buy on top.
