It carries 35 % projectile protection against the 25 % of the Metal Chest Plate, costs you 3 % cold protection instead of 8 %, and still takes up to three armour inserts. It is the heaviest chest protection in Rust, and high-tier loot is the only place it comes from

Service FAQ

The vest protects more on every count: 35 % projectile against 25 %, the same 20 % melee, and 3 % cold protection lost instead of 8 %. Both take up to three armour inserts. The difference is replacement — the plate can be crafted again on your own server, the vest only comes back from loot
