The Metal Chest Plate is the strongest body armour you can craft in Rust, worn most often for raids and roams once high quality metal is coming in. It carries the heaviest projectile and melee protection of any craftable chest piece and takes up to three armour inserts, with reduced cold protection as the trade-off. It is built for players who expect to be shot at.
